The MFT combines configurable water and foam capacity, organized equipment storage, and high-output pumping systems for structural fire and rescue operations.

  • Custom Configurations
  • 1,500–6,000 LPM Pumps
  • Municipal Firefighting

The MERAJ Urban Fire Truck (MFT) Series is a configurable municipal fire fighting and rescue vehicle for urban fire departments, emergency services and industrial response teams. MFT pumpers can use rear-mount or mid-ship pumping layouts, with configurations developed around required water capacity, foam storage, crew arrangements, firefighting equipment and chassis size. MERAJ Fire & Rescue Vehicles are EN-1846 certified, while pump options include EN 1028 approved and NFPA-compliant systems.

Rear-mount MFT pumpers provide more compartment space for firefighting equipment and can use MERAJ pumps rated from 1,500 to 6,000 liters per minute (LPM). Pump controls can be positioned on the operator, rear or curb side, while full-height storage compartments keep equipment accessible during emergency response. Departments comparing other municipal and specialist apparatus can explore the complete MERAJ Fire Fighting & Rescue Vehicles range.

MFT vehicles support several body, tank and equipment combinations. Available features include telescopic light masts, external generators, EASE equipment racking, customizable crew-cab seating, polypropylene or stainless-steel tanks and pneumatic or ME+ controls. Fire departments needing a smaller first-response platform can also review the Rapid Response Vehicle (MRRV).

The Heavy Duty MFT uses 29-ton and 36-ton GVW chassis for departments that require high extinguishing-agent capacity and larger apparatus configurations. The 29-ton configuration supports up to 12,000 L water, 1,200 L foam, 500 kg DCP and 135 kg CO₂. The 36-ton configuration supports up to 14,000 L water, 1,400 L foam, 500 kg DCP and 135 kg CO₂. HDized-AP, SL and ALX-AP body options are listed for both configurations. Maximum fluid capacity affects the space available for crew seating, equipment storage and auxiliary extinguishing agents, so final configuration is selected around operational requirements.
